Ways to improve the usability of a website or applications:

Study Users: Understanding the needs and preferences of users is essential to create a user-friendly application or website. Conduct user research to get an idea of their behavior, preferences, and pain points.
Optimize the user Interface: A well-designed interface can enhance usability by allowing users to easily navigate and find what they are looking for. Use clear and concise language, simple layouts and intuitive navigation to optimize the user interface.
Flexible Design: With the increasing number of users accessing websites and apps on their mobile devices, it is important to ensure that the interface is optimized for all screen sizes. Use responsive design to ensure that the site or application works well on desktop computers, tablets and smartphones. Most designers and developers are now using the Mobile First approach. Its essence is that developers start designing from the mobile version, creating a simple and effective design, which can then be expanded for larger screens, for example, for desktops.
Simplify the registration process: The registration process may prevent users from accessing. Simplify the registration process by requesting only the necessary information and providing alternative login options, such as social media logins.  When requesting non-trivial information, you need to explain to the user for what purposes we are asking about it.
Feedback: Users should receive clear feedback when they interact with the site or application. Use alerts, messages, and notifications to provide feedback on actions taken by the user.
Contextual Help: Users may encounter questions or problems when using the site or application. We offer contextual help such as hints, explanations and contextual help to guide users and improve usability. However, remember that you need to minimize such hints and show them only if necessary. After all, if there is a lot of contextual help on the site, probably the site is not very good.
Usability Testing: Usability testing involves observing users interacting with a site or application and identifying areas for improvement. Conduct usability testing to identify problems and obtain information about user behavior.

In general, improving usability requires a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of users and focusing on creating a user-friendly interface optimized for all devices. By applying these strategies, you can improve usability and increase engagement on your website or app.
